Hi BC-ers! This is a very cool website! It feels like a visit home. I lived in Broad Channel from '52 to '57 and went to St. Virgilius too. I lived on 11th Road and I remember a hurricane when the water was about one foot deep in the house (Betty?) How about the train wreck when the turntable bridge malfunctioned? Maybe that was about '54.
Lots of happy memories of fishing and swimming and boating, too. Very good people in Broad Channel.
Does anyone remember me? Our family name was Harrigan. My dad worked for the Post Office in Jamaica

I have taken measures to reduce the amount of spam here and will continue developing new means of blocking the bombers.
