Hopefully by now most of those who filed with the UCO for their Sewer Maintenance refunds of $250 have received them and put the money to good use. There will be another mailing this week for those who filed a little after the initial deadline. While it's a little late for Christmas shopping, the money should come in handy for paying those nasty credit card bills for the gifts. It was the UCO's pleasure to be able to serve you in this effort.

I guess ill try again. We lived in broad channel Gods country all our lives.Up untill 16years ago.then we moved up state to the Catskills and injoying the mountains. We'll never forget the good time we had years ago With all our good freinds. Fred walkin,charlie arnaman,charlie howard, jeff dady,and the rest of the group. So I guess I'll sign off and say I hope everybody is well and in good health.

The BCAC Jamiaca Bay Little League is holding a parents/board/coaches meeting this Saturday January 31 at the North Channel Yacht Club at 11:00am. Anyone is welcome to join.To help out in anyway possible. We are always in need of people for other things besides coaching. Such as someone to help with the website, field maintenance, flyers, sponsors, etc. and of course we can always use coaches!!! We are especially in need of new YOUNG PARENTS!!! Many of us have had our kids go through the program. Now it is time for the tee-ball parents to step-up and get active in the league. If you want a better league for your children volunteer to help make it BETTTER!!! We did and look at us now, keep it going. Our generation came from playing on rocks, our kids now have grass, lights and bleeches. What will you do for your kids????

Take it from a former CYO baseball player in the '70s, who played right field unless it was high tide. Then I played center. The new facilities sounds very nice, but know you can't tell the coach the ball hit a rock and that is why the run scored. Oh well, take the good with the bad.
