Heres the info for the St Patricks Day Reunion March 2005. A contract was signed for 18 rooms. The rates at the Ramada are $139.00 plus tax per night. This rate is available until 2/16/05 at which time whatever rooms are still not taken, will be put out on the open market again, and the $139.00 rate will not be guaranteed after that. To make reservations, call 1-800-THEKEYS(1-800-843-5397)when the phone is answered you will have to press the single digit number for the Ramada when prompted, when the person answers tell them you are calling about the Broad Channel Reunion Rate. Don’t ask for “reservations” because they will then transfer you to their main phone center. Do this Before 2/16/05. These rooms are booked for 3/16/05 to 3/18/05. For those who would like to stay longer or come earlier, they can bargain for themselves to see if they will give them the same rate. See you all on St Pat’s….

Just wanted to say hello,I was born and raised in BROAD CHANNEL until moving to Florida in 1983.
I and my husband Steve have wonderful memories of living there. My father,Bob Russell, was the past Chief of the B.C.V.F.D. He was a member from 1951 until his death in 2000. My dad started up the ambulance corp. for the dept. I and my family are very proud of him even now for his years of contributions to the community.I still have wonderful friends there, we graduated from sT. virgilius in 1966.Hello to everyone from our class.DEBBIE RUSSELL KASE

Thanks to everyone who called our City Councilman Joe Addabbo the new ballfields at the old Broad Channel Day Camp are moving again. After a long delay of more then 4 years we are happy to see construction once again at the site. The members of the BCAC look forward to new balllfields for our kids to play on. We hope that the next few phases do not take as long as this one did. The town is looking forward to a new community center,which is despatetly needed!! Please keep in touch with your coucilman on this project.

Hi,I lived in Broad Channel for awhile and I miss it dearly.I've made many friends there and wish everyone the best.It's probably nice and cold there now, and looking back although frigid I miss the winters there too.12th Road was A hoot when the bay froze and the tide was in the street.Dave,please tell Scott and Mark I said whats up.thanx
